Hi paul, I've only read 3 books this past year "Birdsong" by Sebastian Faulks / "Secret History" by Donna Tartt (an amazing writer and a great story) and "Oris and Crake" by Margaret Atwood (Brilliantly written but very depressing) and now I'm reading "Scalpel" and it stands up there with the best of them.
